News Update

This National Association for Welfare of the Physically Handicapped (NAWPH) is a leading NGO in Central India, which has been working dedicatedly for the welfare of persons with differential abilities. Philanthropy & Humanitarianism are the basic mission of the Organization.

>> Establishment

This Association was established in the Month of January 1984 with the efforts of some like-minded social activists of the region and Registered on 16 January 1985.

>> Legal Status: –

The NAWPH is registered under: –

  • Societies Registration Act. 1860 (Section-XXI of 1860)
  • Mumbai Public Trust Act (Section 29 of MPA 1950)
  • Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA).

License: –

The On-going Activities like,

  • Vocational Training School for the Disabled, Amravati
  • Residential School for the Blind, Chikhaldara
  • School for the Deaf, Nagpur
  • Late G. Bijwe (Freedom Fighter) Residential School for the Blind, Daryapur Are licentiates by the Government of Maharashtra i.e. The Commissionerate for Persons with Disabilities, Pune.
