>> Separate Hostel for Boys & Girls: –

The Institution has been providing separate Hostel facilities for both Boys & Girls of Vocational Training School for the Disabled, Training Center for the Teachers of Visually Impaired (TCTVI) and the NAWPH Technical Institute running in the premises of its Central Office at Amravati.

>> Games & Sports: –

In order to encourage the students and develop the Physical & motor skills of the students with physical challenges the Institution has been tried its best to provide abundant exposures in Games & Sports. Our Students have been participating in different State Level competitions and achieving the excellence.

>> Music:-

To encourage the Students, the Institution has its own setup for training in vocal & instrumental music.

>> Art & Craft: –

The Institution has provision for training in Art & Craft. For the purpose our faculties in Carpentry, Welding & Tailoring, Drawing & Design has been trying for development of different skills in Art & Craft.

>> Resource Room for Students -Teachers of the Visually Impaired: –

The Institution has developed a well-developed Resource Room for sensory training of visually challenged students. It is equipped with different Tactile Maps, Diagrams, 2D & 3D Models, different aids & equipments for Concept Formation & teaching and learning of Braille, Calculation & Measurement as well as Electronic Traveling Aid for training in Orientation & Mobility etc.

>> Computer Lab for Students: –

The Institution has established its own Computer Lab.

>> Library: –

The Institution has a Library consisting of more than 1000 volumes of text & reference books for both the students and faculties.

>> Braille & talking book Library: –

The Institution has a Braille Library consisting of more than 1100 volumes of text & reference books in Braille for both the visually challenged students and faculties.

>> Cultural Programs for the Students: –

The Institution arranges different cultural activities for the Students during its Annual Gathering and during Tombre Guruji National Award Conferring Ceremony every year beside other National & Ritual Occasions. Similarly, it has been organizing different cultural activities for the students as well as the staff members during celebration of “Louis Braille Sports & Cultural Ceremony during 4th to 6th January every year.

>> Sales Out-let of Braille Appliances and Library by NIVH, Dehradun: –

The National Institute for the Visually Handicapped (NIVH), Dehradun is going to establish a Sales Out-let of Braille Appliances in the premises of the Institution from 12 March 2008. The same Out-let will cater the needs of the Persons with Visual Challenges of Vidarbha, Marathwada & Khandesh Regions comprising of more than 20 Districts in the State.
